Co-creating solutions workshops for the Built Environment

In October, a participatory solutions co-design workshop is planned to focus on the built environment. Professionals will be invited to co-design solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, cool the city of Limassol, and make it more resilient in the future. Built environment professionals working in Limassol can be part of the LC3 co-workshop where they will have the opportunity to contribute with their valuable experience to the achievement of the LC3 goals of reducing the temperature of the city’s buildings and thus shaping a sustainable and resilient future for our town through inclusive processes.

What is a co-workshop for the built environment professionals

The co-workshop is an interactive and structured process, which will be completed in 5 meetings, each lasting 3 hours.

Each session of the co-workshop will have a different focus and will build on the previous one, with opportunities for feedback on an ongoing basis. Participants will have the opportunity to express the challenges that they face as professionals, as well as to suggest ideas for the improvement of the built environment of our city.

The solutions that emerge from the LC3- co-workshop will be incorporated into a proposal to the City Council and will form part of a wider plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through interventions in the public realm, buildings, roofs, car parks and green spaces.
